I’d better get this up quickly! Winter is coming! *Snigger*
I love everything about autumn. The fashion, the darker evenings, the hearty meals, the colder weather, the preparation for Christmas!… It might possibly be my favourite season.
I’ve decided to compile a list of my favourites over this last season: This includes makeup, home decor, clothing, TV Shows and movies and more!
Around the home:
I wanted to give the home an autumnal feel so a trip to Dunelm Mill and Sainsburys was in order! Here are just some of my purchases:
Plants and Flowers
I just can’t help myself, every time I pop into Sainsburys, I end up picking up one of these plants that come in a cute geometric plant pot. They’re only £7 for the pot and the plant together. Please excuse the poor plant in the blue pot – it’s currently in intensive care after being neglected.
This beautiful bunch are from Tesco and last for weeks! This is my second bouquet. These colours are just stunning and go so well with my new decor. I can’t tell you the price as Ryan buys them for me.
My Awesome Slow Cooker
I am in love with my Slow Cooker – this is a relatively new romance. You can read more here: ‘Learn to love your slow cooker‘. My oven is becoming quite neglected this last month! Is it just me or does the slow cooker make everything taste 100x nicer? I’ve never cooked such a good spag bol!
On the telly:
This might possibly be the best Netflix Original I’ve watched this year! Jason Bateman is absolutely brilliant in Ozark. There is only one season but I have read that there is a second in the pipeline! This has been so good that I’ve struggled to find another series to watch! I can’t seem to get through the first episode of anything. If you have any recommendations, please leave them in the comments below this post <3
Say Yes to the Dress UK
With my own wedding 18 months away I’ve become slightly addicted to watching this. I can’t wait to start trying on wedding dresses! Until then, this shall satisfy my wedding excitement by watching others try on beautiful dresses.
To my door:
You can get monthly subscriptions for almost anything these days! I have three beauty box Subscriptions (Lookfantastic, Glossybox and Birchbox), one Bloombox (which I’m still awaiting my first delivery) and I’m looking at taking out a Pact Coffee sub too.
On my face:
Sebamed’s Mattifying Cream RRP £5.69
After receiving a sample in one of my Birchbox’s and falling in love with it, I went onto the Sebamed website (where I got 20% off for being a first time customer) to purchase the full size product. My makeup stays put for so much longer when using this, it makes my skin feel lovely and doesn’t mess with the balance of it’s PH.
adidas Originals NMD_R1
A few weeks ago, I was in need of new shoes that would be comfortable for walking – now that the weather is cooler, we’re going out for a lot more walks and my Converse just weren’t cutting it. After questioning why my Other Half bought FOUR! new pairs of adidas Originals within one month, I decided to see just how good these shoes were by getting a pair for myself… Oh my goodness; they’re the comfiest shoes I’ve ever worn! I want more!
From eBay for £13.95!
Gadgets and gizmos
This is a gadget I never knew I needed until I had. Ryan came home with one and ended up going back into town to get another for me. I like how effortlessly it syncs with everything on my phone. Taking calls and sending texts makes me feel like a secret agent. The best feature?… I can ping my phone from it! – You have no idea how many times in a day I lose my phone!
£11.98 from eBay! Charging my Apple watch and iPhone just got so much cooler!
On my plate:
I’m a little obsessed with Pate on toast right now. I can’t get enough, I’m eating it at least once a day.
And anything made using the slow cooker!
Travis’ Autumn Favourites
Wooden train track
It’s been all about the plastic Trackmasters lately so I’m so glad to see the wooden train track back out.
After months of sticking this on for the kids (okay, for myself because I love it), Travis is finally getting into it, laughing along and even asking for it to be put on. That chicken.
We’re finally big enough for metal framed glasses! Hurray! After weeks of supergluing together his plastic frames, we finally got a new prescription and two new pairs of glasses. (Yes, my son lives in pants and pyjama tops).
Delilah’s Autumn Favourites
Her first pair of shoes
She’s a teeny 2 1/2 F! We had to buy the only pair of smallest shoes they stocked in Clarks!
