Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park

Better late than never.

I’ve been meaning to post this since November last year! How time flies when you’re having fun… aka, dealing with pregnancy fatigue and a toddler!

Towards the end of last year, we took Travis to Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park in North Devon. My parents would take us all the time as children so I was excited to re-visit it after all these years. (Everything looks so much bigger and more magical when you’re a child! I remembered the park very differently!)

We had a brilliant day out and loved seeing all the different animals. There was lots to see and do and they have a lovely indoor play area there now as well.

A few words of advice for those that haven’t been…

Keep your map out of reach of goats!

(Ours got eaten. So did my sticker).

Ditch the pram!

It’s a very hilly place with lots of steps! I was so glad we took our Tula and I certainly didn’t envy those mums that were struggling with their prams.

Make sure you see the Sea Lion show.

It was both entertaining and educational. (The Lion talk was good also, we missed the Wolf talk and the bug talks).

There’s no need to rush around the park as it’s not overly massive.

There were so many animals to see, big and small, furry and scaly. We love Combe Martin Wildlife Park for a family day out. (It’s not too far from where we live either).

Keep an eye out for the Dinosaurs too!
